All members and guests are welcome regardless of whether they are entrants or not. Format will remain, starting late afternoon until around 7pm

With all the approvals and conditional restrictions now sorted it’s full steam ahead at this new venue. Due to longer course options, we expect each run to be around 70/80 seconds duration. Using pure maths, this translates to nearly an hour to get our 40 car limit through in the 2 hours we have booked. The interest so far has gone bananas so there will be some very disappointed punters. We will be issuing entries by invitation only, so we’re not ‘swamped’. Our previous entrants will take precedence. Entry docs will not be posted on our web site to ‘keep a lid’ on entrant numbers.

If this venue turns out to be as good as we think it will be. We’ll make up for any disappointment with a full day event later in the year. As mentioned last month, our ability to book through winter relies on the hockey season fixture.

That’s the good news…….here’s the bad. Curtin will not allow our social barby or alcohol. We can’t even bring a box of Subway rolls, evidently this breaches the on campus retail businesses. According to the rapid response form potential entrants seems nobody cares; they are keen to come and play regardless. The UNI have no issue if you bring your own food, no alcohol.
